Poems and stories in Malayalam hold a rich tradition rooted in Kerala's culture and history. Malayalam literature is celebrated for its depth, diversity, and unique expressions.

• Bhasha Sahithi was prepared for the first semester of Malayalam for UG Commerce students as part of the four-year undergraduate program implemented at Mahatma Gandhi University from 2024. It consists of six poems and six stories that demonstrate the evolution of Malayalam literature. The gradual development of the styles formed in different times and with different tastes will be visible as you go through these writings.
